Installing a Sailcloth XXL is a project in its own right. With surface areas ranging from 575 sqm to 1,025 sqm, preparation begins well before arrival on site. Layout planning, load calculations, anchoring positions, team circulation and logistical access are all defined in advance. The installation unfolds over time and requires precise organisation, fully adapted to the scale of the structure.
The operation mobilises an expanded team, organised into dedicated units. Some focus exclusively on anchoring, others on positioning and raising the central masts, while another group manages the deployment of the canvas. The canvas is never tensioned in a single movement. It is installed in successive phases, with crossed tensioning, in order to control loads and achieve perfect stability across the entire volume. Every adjustment affects the overall balance of the structure.
At this scale, precision is essential. Teams work with full personal protective equipment and carry out regular checks throughout the installation. Tensions are taken up, adjusted and recalibrated, sometimes over several hours, until flawless stability is achieved.
